It took me a while to even figure out the plans for the next week with so many good shows coming through the Bay Area. I've split myself into 4 to cover the city and surrounding areas

Tonight, we are starting with Stymie & PJLO and Griddle @ The Rikshaw. Then to The Connecticut Yankee for Kate Gaffney & The Kitchen Sink. I have been hearing great things about this weekly Thursday artist and really want to get over there!

Friday, in the north bay check out Chrome Johnson, the New Project featuring Marcus Scott and Muggin' Liley @19 Broadway. In the East Bay, Afro-Brazilian-Funk, SAMBADA @Ashkenaz (*WIN). In SF, it's KATDELIC (of 'P FUNK ALLSTARS') & DJ K-OS (*WIN) @Boom Boom Room.

Saturday& Sunday is Sunset Promotions presents Two Nights! Rebirth Brass Band, Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk @The Independent. You can plan the rest of your weekend based on if you want to catch Ivan then Rebirth on Saturday or Rebirth then Ivan on Sunday. Or both. Saturday is sold out so start looking if you want them.

Another stop for Saturday is Umphrey's McGee @ The Regency. Congrats to Jonathan B, Michael S & Nicole W.! Sorry to all the rest who requested. Be sure to get to the Regency early to catch the opener, Cornmeal.

Last call on Saturday is @ Boom Boom Room with Colin Brown Band. (*WIN).

North Bay on Saturday, you have a treat with the debut performance of RonKat's Katdelic @ 19 Broadway. RonKat is a long time BISS List favorite artist so don't miss it! (*WIN)

Sunday, I am torn between choices. I have my new weekly Sushi & Songwriter's in the lounge @ Yoshi's featuring Amie Penwell, BISS Artist Danny Cao & Rebecca Cross, and Joel Murach. It's all unplugged with the artists rotating with short sets. Nice way to end the weekend.

Unless....Your weekend doesn't end on Sunday because you are going back to the Independent for another round of Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk & Rebirth!!(*WIN) You could follow that up with Tracorum in North beach at Mojito.

Or....you are going to the Regency for Styx! That's right Styx. And we have a pair of tickets to giveaway. (*WIN - see contest rules below)

And unless...you are going to stretch it out to Monday night like we are. And really end the weekend in North Beach with all kinds of music in various venues, starting with Mike Olmos @ Grant & Green.
